Located on the edge of Baku’s old city, where Ottoman and Islamic architectural styles meet the European influences of “la Belle Époque,” the design of the Four Seasons was inspired by late nineteenth-century French architecture.
The hotel is itself set prominently on Neftchilar Avenue, the city’s most prestigious address, which runs alongside the seafront boulevard and is populated with a host of flagship designer stores, housed in the opulent mansions of the former “oil barons” who prospered around the turn of the last century.
