The parklands are laid out alongside the Baku Aquatic Centre, which was a host venue for the 1st European Games. Offering a modern take upon the classic French landscape garden, the space is articulated by small piazzas and accented by unusual architectural features while intriguing artworks and occasional events recall the popular “follies” which so often featured in the gardens of past times.
